"A Journey Through The Elements'
In ancient Chinese cosmology, the five basic phases that explain change in the cosmos are earth, wood, metal, fire, and water. These elements were believed to overcome and succeed one another in an immutable cycle and were correlated with the cardinal directions, seasons, colors, musical tones, and bodily organs.
Yin Yoga has its foundations rooted in Ancient Chinese practices, combining theories around physical function & range of movement with the Taoist concept of yin & yang chi (energy) circulation.
These energetic principles are reflected within us and around us through nature. Each week will be a journey through the elements with this sequence of long held poses, philosophy focused on flow of Qi, Meridians, inner self and how it all connects as a whole.

We revolve around the mat in a way that represents the cycles of life and nature! It is a celebration of the fullness of our lives! It is representation of where we've been, where we are, where we are going and what we have to offer the world! Concluding with a meditation helping to aid in releasing unwanted energy, negativity and bring in positivity and love.
